Robert Jones Knights of Columbus Council #3078
Founded October 5, 1947
For more than 75 years, Robert Jones Council #3078 has been proudly serving the Downriver community with faith, fellowship, and service. Based in Lincoln Park, Michigan, our council supports several local parishes — St. André Bessette in Ecorse, Christ the Good Shepherd in Lincoln Park, St. Mary Magdalen in Melvindale, and Holy Cross Hungarian Church in Delray — working together to make a positive impact in our parishes and neighborhoods.
We believe in putting faith into action through a wide range of charitable and community efforts. Our council participates in programs such as Coats for Kids, food drives, youth initiatives, and the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Program, where we recently celebrated the dedication of the 95th ultrasound machine donated in Michigan. We also assist with school and parish events, including the annual car show at St. John Paul II School, where our members help with food service, the beer tent, and family activities.
Our council is deeply committed to supporting the next generation through a growing youth program partnership with St. John Paul II School. We strive to give back to the same programs and values that shaped many of us when we were young.
In addition to our charitable work, we know the importance of fellowship and fun. Throughout the year, members and guests enjoy a variety of social events such as Bar Bingo, Trivia Nights, Euchre Tournaments, and community dinners like the Steak Cookout and Chicken Cacciatore Dinner. The Lounge serves as the heart of our council — a welcoming place to relax, share stories, and build lasting friendships.
At Robert Jones Council #3078, we take pride in living out the Knights of Columbus principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Whether it’s lending a hand to a neighbor, supporting our parishes, or simply enjoying time together, we’re always finding ways to serve with faith and friendship.
Join us in continuing this proud tradition — growing in faith, serving others, and strengthening our community together.
